If your wedding plans include passports, group chats, and at least one person asking if they need cash, you are in the right place. I’m Pala, your destination wedding photographer for Mexico and worldwide. I’ll keep you calm, keep you moving, and capture the whole damn thing in a way that feels like you.
the whole damn thing
elopements & micro weddings
I’ll be the chameleon you want me to be – whether you want me to be the ringmaster herding everyone up for a shot, or to sneak around in the background, capturing all the natural, candid moments. No cheesiness or cringy, forced poses here!
Throughout your day, I’ll be weaving in and out to make sure I catch every precious moment, including moments that went unseen. That quick kiss at the dinner table or tucking that loose strand of hair behind your ear. All the moments that make your heart flutter.
I’ll arrive bright and early to settle in quickly and say hi to everyone before I start shooting. I want to make sure that everyone (especially you) is 100% comfortable and pumped for the day ahead.
Count on me to be your hype girl, the one who fixes your hair when the wind fucks it, the girl who stops fights (yes it's happened), and the one who makes sure your glass is full
You’re already flying everyone to paradise. You should not have to pay extra because I also like sunshine. For Mexico weddings, I cover my own flights and accommodation. You get a photographer who knows how to work fast in the heat, find flattering shade, and time portraits so you look like glowing gods, not sweaty tomatoes.
I actually didn't know anything about photography before I became a wedding photographer.. haha. I went to school for business, and at the time, I was managing restaurants. I think that it's because of this background that I have such a strong desire to make sure every last one of my clients is as happy as can be. Think I'm bluffing? Check my google reviews.
I'm a traveler, and always will be. I love seeing new places, which is why I try to get people to hire me for their weddings in other parts of the world. I usually try to book a cooking class in every country I go to, too!
I could spend all damn day in the kitchen. Food is my love language. My dream is to one day have a phat house where I can host all my homies and feed them food until they worship me (joking about that last bit, kinda)
I want to fill my life with as much live music and comedy as I can. I'm a sucker for a festival, but they're hard to go to during wedding season.
With any other spare time I have, I love to craft, learn new things about my homestead, hike with my dog, snowboard, dance, play guitar, and just about anything else that sounds like a fun time.
Photographing couples who are so disgustingly in love fires me right the fuck up. I DIE every time I get to witness an adorable moment between lovers. For real, it's what keeps me doing this job!
I'm actually the kind of person who hates doing the same shit all the time. It's why I also work in Economic Development. But I am such a sucker for love that I can do wedding after wedding and never get tired of it.
I am well traveled in North, Central & South America and parts of Europe, but I want to see MORE!
If you book me for your wedding somewhere hot & tropical or in any of my bucket list locations below, I will cover my own travel fees. Check out my services to see your booking options!

Elopements are my favourite for many reasons. I'll even help you plan yours, I've done MANY. I have lists of my favourite vendors in all the wedding hot spots I've been to.
It depends on the day! Elopement albums are usually somewhere around 2-300 photos, Micro weddings usually around 4-500, and weddings anywhere from 500-1100. It all depends on how the time is used on portraits, how much travel I need to do between locations, and how well organized the wedding is, to be honest! For that reason, I highly recommend having someone hired just to do odds & ends.
